Thanks for all the great feedback everyone! To address the maintenance question – from what I’ve read, LS3 engines actually have lower maintenance costs than original 360 V8s. Parts are readily available and affordable. The main expense would probably be specialty fabrication work if anything breaks or needs custom fitting.
