Thanks for all the feedback so far. To answer Sarah’s question, from what I gathered, one major issue is the battery range under actual work conditions. Towing a loaded trailer would severely reduce range, which most Hilux buyers do regularly. The EPA estimates might not reflect real-world usage patterns for these vehicles.
