Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a heads up that there are 151 auctions closing today on Bring a Trailer. This is a massive batch with some really interesting vehicles across different categories and price points. I’ve been scrolling through the listings this morning and there’s definitely something for everyone – classics, modern sports cars, trucks, and some unique project cars that could be incredible if you’ve got the time and passion for restoration.
If you’ve been on the fence about any of these vehicles, today is your last chance to place bids or increase your current offers. The competition has been pretty intense on some of the more desirable lots, but there are still some sleeper deals out there if you look carefully. I’ve noticed several interesting European imports that haven’t received as much attention as they probably deserve.
For those new to BaT auctions, remember that timing is crucial on the final day. A lot of bidding activity happens in those last few hours, so don’t be surprised if prices jump significantly as the clock winds down. Make sure you have your financing sorted and inspection details reviewed before the hammer drops.
Personally, I’m keeping my eye on a few vehicles, but I’m trying to be disciplined about my budget this month. The quality of vehicles on the platform has been consistently high lately, which is great for buyers who know what to look for.
What are you all bidding on today? Any standout vehicles in this batch that caught your attention? Feel free to share your favorite lots or ask questions about any vehicles you’re interested in. Good luck to everyone placing bids!
This is insane! I’ve been watching three different vehicles all week and the bidding has gotten absolutely wild. I thought I had a shot at one of the Japanese classics but the price went way beyond what I was willing to pay. Still, great selection today.
Just won my first BaT auction! Can’t believe it actually happened. The inspection photos were incredibly detailed which made me confident in my bid. Thanks adrian30 for the reminder about the closing time!
I disagree with the assessment that there are sleeper deals. Every decent vehicle on BaT is priced competitively now. The days of finding bargains are long gone. You have to overpay for anything worth having.
Does anyone know if BaT has any filter options to sort by location? I’m trying to minimize shipping costs on my next purchase but the interface seems limited.
Great question celinekc! You can sort by pickup location on the main auctions page. It’s in the left sidebar under ‘Location’. Definitely helps if you’re trying to find something closer to home or avoid cross-country shipping.
The maintenance costs on some of these older European cars are going to destroy buyers’ budgets. I’ve seen people get excited about vintage BMWs and Porsches without realizing parts alone can cost thousands. Be smart about your bidding!
Been a BaT member for five years now. This is definitely one of the better auction batches I’ve seen. Quality is up across the board this month.
I’m overwhelmed by how many options there are. How do you all narrow down what to actually bid on? I feel like I need a strategy.
Strategy is simple: find something you love at a price you can afford. Don’t get caught up in the hype bidding. Set your maximum bid and stick to it. Discipline wins auctions.
The auction I was watching just ended. Didn’t get it, but I’m glad I stayed disciplined on the price. There will be more opportunities next week.
I think the prices are getting ridiculous. These vehicles are selling for dealer markup prices now. You’re not getting a deal buying from BaT anymore, you’re just getting convenience.
Congratulations haley.contiad! Which vehicle did you win? Would love to hear what the experience was like!
The pre-auction inspection reports are the best feature BaT offers. Always read them thoroughly before bidding. They give you realistic expectations about condition.
Just placed my bids for the day. Hopefully I get lucky on at least one of them. The competition is fierce but that’s half the fun!
