I absolutely cannot believe this actually happened. According to recent reports, former President Trump got completely sidetracked by a gold-plated Fendt tractor that was on display at the White House. A GOLD TRACTOR. At the White House. During what was supposed to be an official event.
Apparently, the luxury agricultural equipment caught his attention so thoroughly that he spent considerable time examining it, asking questions about its specifications, and even posing for photos with the vehicle. The Fendt tractor, which was apparently part of some kind of agricultural showcase or demonstration, features custom gold plating and represents the kind of over-the-top luxury item that seems tailor-made to distract him.
I’m not even sure what to say about this. On one hand, it’s almost comical that someone in his position would get so distracted by a novelty farm vehicle. On the other hand, it’s also kind of concerning that an official White House event devolved into what amounts to a photo op with a gold tractor.
The Fendt brand is known for high-end agricultural machinery, but this particular model appears to be a custom creation designed specifically to be eye-catching and luxurious. The gold plating alone probably costs more than most people’s actual tractors.
