Hey guys, I’ve been looking to pick up a used skid steer for the new season and stumbled across a site called Eastline Equipment Auctions – https://eastlineauctions.com/ . The prices seem pretty decent, almost too good on a few lots. Has anyone here actually bid through them before? Is Eastline Equipment Auctions trustfully? Just don’t want to wire a bunch of money and get ghosted.

I actually used them back in February to grab a mini excavator. Honestly, all was good and it was a super fast transaction. Won the bid on a Tuesday, wired the funds Wednesday morning, and I had the bill of sale before lunch. Equipment matched the inspection report perfectly. I’d definitely use them again.

That’s good to hear Dan. I tried signing up last week but my account is still stuck on “pending verification.” I uploaded my ID and business license like they asked, but my account was not verified and I honestly don’t know why. Reached out to their support yesterday but haven’t heard back yet. Super frustrating since there’s a Deere loader closing tomorrow I really wanted to bid on.

@david_walker Give their phone support a call. Same thing happened to me last year—turned out my picture of my driver’s license was too blurry for their automated system. Took 5 mins on the phone with a real person to sort it out and get me bidding.

Thanks for the info, guys! @ameliagarcia619 , did you handle your own shipping or use their in-house freight service? I’m up in Ohio and the machine I’m eyeing is sitting out in Texas, so hauling is going to be a pretty big factor.

I used my own hotshot guy since I already had a driver in the area, but their freight quotes didn’t look terrible. I just didn’t want to wait on their dispatch queue.

I bought a forklift from them and used their shipping service. The machinery arrived with a 2 days delay because the driver got stuck at a weigh station or something, but honestly, for heavy hauling, a couple of days late isn’t the end of the world. The machine itself ran perfectly right off the lowboy.

I’ve bought three pieces of iron from Eastline over the past couple years. They’re definitely legit. Just make sure you read the condition reports closely. They sell some stuff “as-is” with known hydraulic leaks, and if you don’t read the fine print, that’s entirely on you. But overall, they’ve been straight shooters with me.

@kevinwalker205 was right! I called the main number this morning, and it turned out the address on my business license didn’t exactly match the billing address on my credit card. The lady on the phone got me approved immediately. Bummed I missed that Deere, but at least I’m ready for the next one.

Awesome, thanks everybody for the feedback. I feel way better about it now. Going to pull the trigger and throw in a bid on that skid steer. Wish me luck!
