Thanks everyone for the early responses! David, I hear your concerns about reliability, but I think the 5000S engines were more robust than some alternatives from that period. The turbo system itself was well-engineered. Proper maintenance would have kept these cars running strong. Emma, that’s a smart question about costs – I’d definitely research that before purchasing.
