      Whatever you do, get a pre-purchase inspection from someone who specializes in classic Mercedes. Not all mechanics understand the nuances of these vehicles. Worth every penny.

        No reserve means it could go for steal or skyrocket depending on bidder interest. Classic Mercedes seem hot right now though, so I’d expect competitive bidding.

          I think this could be an excellent investment if the restoration is done right. These cars are only going up in value. Get some expert inspections though before placing your bid.

            Actually, you know what, I might have been too harsh earlier. If this seller has documentation and the engine runs, maybe it’s not as bad as typical projects. Still risky though.
