Hey everyone! I just checked out the new interior photos of the 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLE and GLE Hybrid from Car and Driver, and I have to say, I’m really impressed with what Mercedes is doing here. The cabin looks absolutely stunning with a modern, minimalist design that feels both luxurious and functional.
The new GLE interior features a completely redesigned dashboard with a horizontal orientation that extends across the entire width. The touchscreen integration looks seamless, and I love how they’ve incorporated the digital instrument cluster. The materials appear to be premium throughout – leather, wood trim, and brushed aluminum accents all seem to work together really well.
For the GLE Hybrid specifically, I noticed they’ve kept the same interior aesthetic, which is great because it shows consistency across the lineup. The front seats look incredibly comfortable with all the adjustment options visible in the photos. The steering wheel has been redesigned too, and it looks more ergonomic than previous generations.
One thing that caught my attention is the improved storage solutions throughout the cabin. There are more cubby holes and compartments than before, which is always appreciated on long drives. The rear seat area also appears to have better legroom based on the photos.
The infotainment system looks state-of-the-art, and the integration with the climate controls is much more intuitive than older models.
