      The convertible aspect is underrated. Yes, weight and rigidity matters, but driving a 330Ci with the top down on a perfect day is irreplaceable. The experience you get is worth the mechanical compromises of the softtop. This is the right body style for this car.

        Look, I’ll admit I might be wrong about the market. But I still think there are better values out there. You’re paying a premium for the ZHP badge and the manual transmission, not necessarily because the car is objectively better. Market hype is real.

          Regarding maintenance costs that erika_camarao mentioned – the E46 330Ci is actually pretty reasonable. Oil changes, coolant flushes, brake service… all normal BMW costs. The real money comes if you need VANOS work or suspension rebuild, but that’s not common on well-maintained examples.
