0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds in a convertible is absolutely mental. Most sedans can’t do that. The fact that you can do it with the roof down and feel everything makes this genuinely one of the most thrilling cars ever built.
Has anyone thought about what insurance on something like this would actually cost? I imagine that’s another significant factor to consider alongside maintenance.
I’ll stand by my earlier point – the 911 Turbo is a better value proposition. More reliable, cheaper to maintain, holds value better. The McLaren is sexier sure, but it’s not objectively the smarter financial decision.
