      Thanks everyone for the great discussion so far! I’m really torn on this myself. On one hand, I see the luxury positioning argument. On the other hand, $22k for cosmetic upgrades feels excessive even for bespoke customization. It’ll be interesting to see how long this pricing strategy holds up if they release sales numbers.

        Can we talk about resale value here? I’m betting these gold trim models won’t hold their value well. In five years, you’ll probably be stuck with a car that nobody wants because the gold styling looks dated.

          This is definitely a case of luxury branding overreach. Alfa Romeo is banking on brand prestige and exclusivity rather than actual product value. I respect the strategy, but I wouldn’t fall for it myself.
