The sustainability angle cannot be ignored here. The E-Type and XJ were magnificent but they belong to an age of fuel consumption nobody thinks is acceptable anymore. The new electric GT is Jaguar’s answer to building beautiful cars responsibly. That’s actually pretty elegant.
I’m more interested in the driving experience than the heritage comparisons. How does it handle? Is the steering responsive? Can it deliver that connected feeling between driver and machine that made the old Jags special? That’s what matters to me more than design DNA.
