Thanks for the info, guys! @ameliagarcia619 , did you handle your own shipping or use their in-house freight service? I’m up in Ohio and the machine I’m eyeing is sitting out in Texas, so hauling is going to be a pretty big factor.

Great post, Anna! The 5000S Turbo is criminally underrated in classic car circles. That turbo really transformed what you could expect from a luxury sedan back then. The performance was genuine, not just marketing hype. Definitely one of Audi’s best engineering achievements from that decade.

Maintenance costs on turbo Audis from this era were definitely higher than standard models, but nothing astronomical compared to today’s standards. You’re mainly looking at turbo service intervals and occasional boost pressure testing. Still manageable if you’re prepared.
