I disagree with this entire approach. Executive bonuses should be tied to long-term sustainability, not short-term metrics that can be gamed. Quality targets can be met through creative accounting and selective reporting.
I owned one of these back in college. Mine had the L20 engine and was surprisingly quick with some basic bolt-ons. The handling was genuinely fun for a car from 1983. If this is well-sorted mechanically, it could be a real steal.
One thing I’ll add: check the undercarriage photos carefully. That’s where rust decisions get made on cars this old. Even one good picture showing the frame rails and suspension will tell you if this car has been properly stored or exposed to salt.
