The Expedition is a legend. I’ve seen these things go 300,000+ miles with proper care. 30 years is well-deserved recognition. Wondering if the anniversary edition will have any performance upgrades or if it’s mainly cosmetic.
If you’re planning to bid on this, factor in the transmission maintenance too. The ZF6-speed automatic in these is robust, but rebuilds aren’t cheap. Still better than modern automatics though.
The crew cab configuration is perfect. You get the practicality of a full cab with the bed space and towing capacity of an F-350. Not many three-quarter tons were built as crew cabs back then, so this is a rare find.
