The Wuling Hongguang Mini EV’s fifth generation in six years wouldn’t have been possible five years ago. This acceleration shows the market is maturing rapidly and budget EVs are no longer an afterthought for major manufacturers like GM.
The 3.6L twin-turbo is reliable for a Porsche. What concerns me more is the transmission and the all-wheel drive system. Those can be expensive to service. But overall, solid SUV choice if you maintain it properly.
