I have to be honest – these old Datsuns require a lot more maintenance than people think. Budget for regular oil changes, belt replacements, and cooling system work. The maintenance cost really adds up, especially if you’re going for originality. I’d estimate $1500-2000 annually just for upkeep.

The 2016 is a solid year. Interior has held up well, and the tech isn’t too outdated. Performance-wise, it’s still competitive. If the service history is good, you’re looking at a reliable vehicle. Don’t let the naysayers scare you off.
