Beautiful spec, but I have to be honest – I’m not convinced the Manthey package justifies the premium you’re paying. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a fantastic car, but for track work you could get a base GT4 RS and do custom tuning for less money. The Weissach package alone adds significant cost. Still gorgeous though!

That’s an awesome find! The Series I 240Z is pure classic Japanese engineering. The 4-speed is the rarer transmission so you’ve got something special. Make sure you check the frame rails carefully – rust in those areas can be problematic on these older Datsuns. Keep us posted on the progress!

Great breakdown adrian_clark. I picked up a used Jeep Wrangler 4xe last month and I’m loving it. The tax credit really made the deal work for me. Haven’t had any issues so far, but I’m curious about long-term reliability of the plug-in hybrid systems.

Anyone know if the tax credit works differently if you’re buying from a dealer versus private sale? Asking because I found a private party PHEV at a better price but worried about the credit complications.
