Maintenance costs on these hybrid luxury SUVs can get astronomical. I’ve been looking at service estimates and it’s rough. Mercedes-AMG service doesn’t come cheap, and adding hybrid components makes it even more expensive.
Climate control would be nice as standard instead of air conditioning on basic models. That’s a notable omission for comfort. And the steering wheel doesn’t adjust for reach which is annoying.
I disagree with the Autocar review to some extent. They’re being too generous about the interior quality. It’s pretty basic with lots of hard plastics. The infotainment system is outdated compared to what you get in rivals. Not worth the money in my opinion.
