I’ve owned one of these and honestly the driving experience is underrated. Yeah it’s not as powerful as newer Mustangs, but the chassis balance is better than people give it credit for. Daily drivable and you can get 20mpg highway if you’re gentle.
I hope they don’t lose the performance edge in this redesign. Simplifying design shouldn’t mean simplifying what makes these cars actually fun to drive.
I’m actually following this auction right now. The bidding has been pretty active. People really do appreciate low-mileage examples, especially ones with full service history like this appears to have.
