Finally an EV that doesn’t try to look like a spaceship. This looks like an actual car that normal people would want to drive. Cupra gets it.

I’m hoping they keep the spacious interior. That’s the Atlas’s strongest point. Don’t sacrifice practicality for a fancy redesign, VW!

I’d like to know about the warranty and maintenance costs. VW’s service can sometimes be pricey, and I want to understand what the long-term ownership costs will look like for the 2027 model compared to current Atlases.

I’m genuinely torn on this. The 1988 Grand Wagoneer is such an iconic vehicle. Part of me wants to preserve history, but another part recognizes that keeping these cars on the road with modern reliability makes sense. This build manages to do both beautifully.
