Disagree with the optimism here. I think we’re going to see a lot of the same recycled designs and platforms. Innovation seems to be slowing down, and I’m not expecting anything truly revolutionary.

@kevinwalker205 was right! I called the main number this morning, and it turned out the address on my business license didn’t exactly match the billing address on my credit card. The lady on the phone got me approved immediately. Bummed I missed that Deere, but at least I’m ready for the next one.

That’s good to hear Dan. I tried signing up last week but my account is still stuck on “pending verification.” I uploaded my ID and business license like they asked, but my account was not verified and I honestly don’t know why. Reached out to their support yesterday but haven’t heard back yet. Super frustrating since there’s a Deere loader closing tomorrow I really wanted to bid on.

I have to respectfully disagree here. While the 5000S Turbo was fast for the time, it wasn’t nearly as reliable as people remember. The turbocharged engines of that era had serious longevity issues. You’re looking at major problems if you actually drove these cars hard like intended.

I’ve seen too many of these cars fail prematurely despite good maintenance. The turbo seals would go, and then you’re looking at engine rebuild costs. Not just maintenance – actual major repairs that eat through your budget fast.
