I’m hoping to see some announcements about hybrid technology improvements. Not everyone is ready to go fully electric, and I think hybrids are the practical solution for now.

The 2UZ-FE engine is absolutely legendary. Honestly, the reliability factor alone makes this worth considering. I’d be more worried about rust and interior condition than mechanical issues.

Honestly, I disagree with some of the analysis here. The legal system should have better protocols before issuing citations. This case exposes a major gap in how law enforcement handles traffic violations on highways. The burden shouldn’t be on the defendant to prove innocence with video evidence.

The maintenance cost on older 5-cylinder Audis is brutal though. Imagine dealing with turbo issues or timing chain problems on a 10-year-old model. Parts aren’t getting cheaper either. Maybe letting it die isn’t the worst idea.

I’m just glad I won’t have to deal with expensive repairs on those complex 5-cylinder motors. Modern efficiency is worth the trade-off in personality.

Disagree with Rizky – part of owning a classic is accepting it for what it is. The 240Z drives beautifully when properly maintained. Keep it original, Michael. That’s where the value is.

I own an Elantra and this is concerning. Do we know if insurance companies are adjusting premiums for Elantra owners specifically? That could become an additional cost burden if theft rates stay high for this model.

If I’m looking to replace my Elantra, this data makes me consider other brands. It’s unfortunate because I love my car, but theft risk is a real factor in vehicle choice now.
