The MGA is great, but honestly I think you’re overpaying for this one. The market for these has gotten pretty inflated lately. You could probably find something similar for less if you’re patient. The 5-speed conversion is nice but doesn’t add huge value.
I just bought a 2012 Fusion last month with 105k miles. Inspection came back clean. So far it’s been fantastic. The steering is responsive, it handles highway drives well, and the fuel economy is better than my old Jeep. No regrets yet.
Highway traffic stops are always stressful, but this situation adds a whole new layer of complexity. Identity verification should be part of the initial citation process. Seems like a flaw in the system.
