Land Rover’s design language has evolved significantly since the original Freelander days. I’m optimistic that they can create something that honors the heritage while feeling completely modern. The question is pricing strategy.
The photography and presentation of the Sunfire Red has been exceptional from Infiniti’s marketing team. They really captured the essence of what makes this color special. Professional execution all around.
I’m going to go against the grain here – I don’t think pre-war Fords have held their value well lately. Too many mediocre restorations floating around. This one needs to be genuinely exceptional to justify bidding without a reserve price floor. The market for these has softened.
Disagree with the idea that this design is unchanged. Modern ring materials and coatings are vastly different from what we had twenty years ago. The concept is the same, but execution has evolved significantly.
