I completely disagree with this approach. GM should be investing more in electric and hybrid technologies instead of pushing outdated gas guzzlers. This is short-term thinking that will hurt them in 5-10 years when regulations become stricter.
I have to disagree with some of the valuation arguments from yesterday. Some commenters were way too optimistic about depreciation rates. The market data doesn’t support their claims at all.
