Switched from copper to iridium spark plugs in my Civic at 80k miles. Noticed peppier response and probably getting 2-3 mpg better. Not a huge difference but every bit helps when you’re commuting daily.

I disagree with that assessment. Well-maintained MGAs are holding their value really well right now. The 5-speed alone is worth something because it saves the next owner from having to do the conversion themselves. This looks like a quality example to me.
