Not sure I buy all this synthetic hype either. My dad ran his old Chevy for 300k miles on conventional oil doing regular changes. Never had an engine problem. Modern marketing has people thinking they need premium everything.
I disagree with daniel26 – the Stingray is plenty capable for 99% of drivers. The Grand Sport is marketing hype if you ask me. Save your money and go Stingray.
Still sticking with my opinion – the Grand Sport is a solution looking for a problem. Most of us aren’t tracking these cars seriously enough to justify the extra cost.
