The infotainment system looks user-friendly, which is important for a vehicle like this. Too many luxury cars overlook practical UI/UX design. Mercedes seems to have nailed it here.
I completely disagree with the idea that synthetic is always better. I’ve been running conventional oil in my older truck for years with zero problems. Synthetic is just marketing hype to charge you more money. Stick with what the manufacturer recommends, period.
I work in robotics and we’re increasingly using worm gears for right-angle power transmission in our designs. Different application, similar challenge. The torque multiplication is incredible even if efficiency takes a slight hit.
