This looks amazing! I’m not as technical as some of the others here, but I love the aesthetic. The fact that it’s been properly modernized with the transmission upgrade shows someone cared about this car. The color looks perfect too!
I think people overstate the reliability concerns. Yes, you need to stay on top of maintenance, but what enthusiast car doesn’t? The handling and engagement of a manual Cooper S is unmatched in its class.
I have to respectfully disagree with the reliability consensus here. I’ve seen several of these with transmission issues around 80k-100k miles. They’re not the bulletproof cars everyone claims. Just my experience though.
