Thanks for all the responses so far. I appreciate both perspectives. I think my main worry is that once we accept this, there’s no going back. Companies will keep pushing boundaries. Plus, think about the maintenance cost implications – if BMW has detailed records of how you drive, can they use that to deny warranty claims? That’s something I hadn’t considered until now.
