Thanks for the responses so far. I did ask the seller for service records and they said they have everything from purchase through present, which is a good sign. The car has 87K miles on it, which isn’t terrible for a 2005. I’m still on the fence though. The maintenance costs alone for a 19-year-old convertible Lexus could be brutal if anything major goes wrong. Anyone have specific knowledge about SC430 reliability issues I should know about?
