Re-sale value will be strong if Ford keeps the reliability and value formula intact. But I’m concerned they might price themselves out of the segment.

The maintenance costs on these luxury vehicles are absolutely astronomical. When you factor in annual service charges, parts replacement, and insurance, a 30-year-old Bentley or Ferrari can cost more to maintain than it’s worth. Buyers are probably reconsidering the total cost of ownership.

The supply chain issues are also making delivery times longer. If you’re ordering a bespoke Rolls-Royce or custom Ferrari, you might be looking at 18-24 month waits. Some buyers might be getting frustrated and delaying purchases indefinitely.
