Hard pass on this one for me. A 1959 Corvette should have a period-correct engine. The whole point of owning an original from that era is preserving automotive history. Modern swaps feel like cheating to me. Just my two cents though.

The acceleration potential of electric motors might actually let the new GT surpass the performance of those classic cars. Even if the E-Type was incredible for 1961, modern EVs can deliver performance that would’ve seemed impossible back then.
