This makes me wonder what other hidden defects might be in these vehicles. One in three is statistically significant and frankly alarming for safety systems.

Steel all the way for me. I’ve been running the same steel rocker arms on my 350 for over 15 years without any issues. The aluminum ones look nice but I’m not convinced the marginal weight savings justifies the potential durability concerns.

Good point Derek. Mercedes maintenance has always been pricey, but the build quality justifies it in my opinion. The refresh actually might improve reliability with the updated systems. Interested to see long-term owner feedback once these start shipping.

Performance-wise, what are the expected 0-60 times and horsepower figures for the main powertrains? That’s usually the first thing I check when evaluating a new vehicle.
