The real question is maintenance cost. Everyone remembers those early Freelanders had reliability issues. If JLR is bringing it back, they need to prove they’ve learned from past mistakes. Otherwise, we’re looking at expensive repairs and warranty claims that could sink the brand’s reputation all over again.
