Thanks for the responses everyone. To answer your question ruba_diazy, unfortunately there aren’t obvious external signs of airbag defects. That’s why the recall is so important. From what I’ve read, the issue might be related to the sensor systems. I’d recommend not delaying on getting this checked out.
