Thanks for the responses so far. I’m starting to see both sides more clearly. The maintenance cost point from horst_harrism is really solid – I hadn’t fully considered how vertical integration could actually hurt consumers on service pricing. But at the same time, innovation sometimes requires disruption. Curious where this goes in other states.
