I disagree with the assessment that there are sleeper deals. Every decent vehicle on BaT is priced competitively now. The days of finding bargains are long gone. You have to overpay for anything worth having.
This is how restomod culture should work. Preserve the vintage aesthetics but modernize what matters for reliability and performance. Not everyone wants a museum piece that breaks down every time you drive it.
