I switched to aluminum and regretted it. The rocker arm length changed slightly, requiring valve clearance adjustments I didn’t anticipate. Cost me an extra $300 in machine work.
Love these trucks. The diesel market has really appreciated since these came out. You might actually come out okay if you decide to sell later. Hold value better than the gas versions.
