39k miles is actually not that low for a 2016 if it’s been used for camping or road trips. That would be average use spread over 8 years. Still a great van though!
The five-cylinder sound is iconic. I’ve never owned an Audi with it, but I’ve always appreciated it from afar. Sad to see it die everywhere else in the world though.
Look, I’ll give it some credit – the build quality seems solid for a 2004 Ford. That’s not nothing. Maybe I was too harsh before. Still wouldn’t buy one myself though.
I actually disagree with the retro styling taking off like it did. The 2004 Thunderbird design feels dated now, and I think it’ll only get worse as time goes on. These aren’t going to be classics that hold value, in my opinion.
