Maintenance costs on these can get serious fast. I had a friend with a ’86 M635CSi and after suspension rebuilds, transmission service, and engine work, he was looking at €6,000+ annually just to keep it sorted. Just something to factor into your decision.

1996 was such a strong year for Porsches. The 993 generation was mature, the engineering was proven, and air-cooling was optimized. This particular car probably sees significant appreciation over the next 5-10 years as collectors recognize what’s special about these models.

That’s a killer find! Coyote swaps have become really popular in the classic truck community. The 5-speed manual should handle the power fine, though you might want to verify the clutch and flywheel setup. Those older trucks respond really well to modern engine swaps.

The policy actually makes economic sense. Farmers get support, fuel companies adapt and find new revenue streams, and consumers benefit from renewable fuel. Sure there are transition costs, but that’s expected with any major policy shift.
