I’m not sure about this approach. Trying to appeal to everyone often means you don’t excel at anything. I’d prefer Mercedes stick to their premium positioning instead of diluting the brand trying to capture budget-conscious buyers.
I disagree with the premise that they’re losing their identity. They’re adapting their identity. There’s a difference. Every major automaker is doing this right now. Jaguar is just doing it with more style than most.
2,540 is a huge number. That’s almost 7 tickets per day on average across the entire state. Either enforcement is everywhere or these statistics are including minor violations.
