Thanks for all the encouragement! To answer questions – I picked up the Eclat for a reasonable price from an estate. The floor pans look good from what I can see. I’m planning to lift it soon for a complete undercarriage inspection. The carburetor is a Dellorto, which I’m hoping to get professionally cleaned first before any rebuild work.

Good point from tobias_hussaink. I did check the listing more carefully, and the photos seem to show honest condition. It’s not a show car, but it looks like an honest example with patina. The no reserve might just mean the owner wants to move it quickly rather than indicating problems.
