      That’s a seriously cool truck! The 30k miles is almost unbelievable. Fire trucks don’t typically get pampered like that. I wonder what the maintenance history looks like because those big V8 engines in emergency vehicles usually get harder use than regular mileage might suggest.

        The 2.4L engine is solid when properly tuned. Make sure you use the correct oil weight and keep up with maintenance intervals. These engines can easily hit 100k+ miles with proper care.

          I actually own two vintage automotive neon signs, and I can tell you that maintenance costs are real. You’re looking at $200-400 per year for basic upkeep and occasional repairs. The transformer can fail, tubes dim over time, and if you want professional restoration work, that’s exponentially more expensive.

            The condition of this particular sign looks excellent compared to most I’ve seen. If the price stays reasonable, I think michael63 would be getting a solid piece. Just keep those maintenance costs in mind for budgeting purposes.
