I’m so sorry this happened to you. My brother had a similar experience with a custom car shop. The key is getting an independent assessment of what was actually done versus what was promised. That assessment document became crucial for his lawsuit.

I have to disagree with the enthusiasm here. These old Scouts drink fuel like crazy and the safety features are basically non-existent by today’s standards. You’re looking at poor visibility, no crumple zones, and minimal braking power. Not sure I’d trust one on modern highways.

I think this could be an excellent investment if the restoration is done right. These cars are only going up in value. Get some expert inspections though before placing your bid.
