I wonder if this is similar to the issues some Ford models had with interior off-gassing. Those took forever to resolve. If Nissan has a comparable problem, we’re probably looking at a lengthy investigation and drawn-out recall process.
The MG community really is special. I’ve been part of it for over a decade now, and the knowledge base among members is incredible. You’ll learn so much just by asking questions at meets and online forums.
I disagree with the hype. Emission regulations keep tightening globally. This is a dead-end technology, no matter how smart the engine is. Better to invest in hybrids or full electric.
