This is exactly what I expected from GM. Heavy-duty trucks have incredibly high profit margins, and they know truck buyers don’t care as much about fuel economy. It’s a solid business strategy even if it seems tone-deaf environmentally.
Jessica’s right about the refinement factor. This is a matured design that builds on what made the previous generation great. The engineering probably improved significantly too.
These hold value better than most wagons because they’re practical AND upscale. You can actually use it as a daily driver and feel good about the interior quality. The T6 engine gives you real performance too.
